Antique Framed Oil Painting on Canvas by J. Marechal is a splendid post-impressionist harvest scene with rolling hills in the background and a large tree dominating the composition.  In the foreground appear several bundles of freshly harvested hay.  Note how the artist has used deft brush strokes to create texture and movement, all with a subtly pastel earth tone coloration.  Survives in its original frame.
