Jamson is a splendid composition that displays the artist's skill with a subdued earth-toned palette and a composition that provides a tranquil setting while both drawing one into the scene and simultaneously depicting excellent perspective.  The vanishing point is at the center extreme left of the work, where the distant rolling hills blur in color before the abrupt transition to a cloudy sky.  The diagonal direction of the composition is intriguing, but the charm of the quaint country farmhouse trumps everything!
