Mid-Century Framed Oil Painting on Canvas by Louis Garot features a splendid command of color, shadow and perspective!  In this composition Garot invites the view into the scene with a quiet little rock-lined brook, enveloped by the rust colors of the leaf-strewn forest and the luxurious greens of the canopy above, with the brook disappearing into the distance leaving one to wonder what lies ahead.  This wonderful work survives in its intricately detailed gold frame.
