Antique French Louis XV Canape ~ Sofa with Tapestry Upholstery

Antique French Louis XV Canape ~ Sofa with Tapestry Upholstery was sculpted from fine walnut, and features an exquisitely formed framework with subtly arched seatback crown, gracefully scrolled armrests, and an undulating apron supported by eight carved cabriole legs connected with a system of double-lyre stretchers.  The armrest supports and apron are also carved with stylized shell and foliate motifs.  Upholstered with durable tapestry fabric with an exotic floral and foliate motif in subtle earth tones, it provides as much visual appeal as it does comfort!
