19th Century Black Forest Jardiniere on Pedestal is an elaborately and enthusiastically sculpted plant stand that can actually stand as a decorative item on its own!  Sculpted from solid sycamore, its surface was carved to depict natural wooden bark, a floral bouquet, an urn and elegant scrollwork with detail too exhaustive to cover completely in this description!  Survives with its original tin liner created specifically for this jardiniere, it is still perfect for its original intended purpose ~ to display fresh flowers and greenery indoors to liven up the interior.  One can look at this work for hours and still discover new nuances that will only endear it to yourself and your family for generations to come!
