Antique French Louis XV Walnut KING Size Bed is a rare find, indeed!  Sculpted from sumptuous French walnut, it features the naturalistic curvaceous form of the style from the triple-arched headboard crown to the scrolled legs of the footboard tipped with escargot feet.  Stylized shell, floral and foliate motifs are tastefully sculpted into the framework all around, even including the side rails, which feature tailored molded detail and a French scroll design.  The headboard is centered with shell, floral and foliates, complemented by the carvings on the shoulders, and mirrored on the footboard which is designed to wrap around the bed with the luxurious warmth of the exquisite walnut.  Our expert in-house specialists not only extended the side rails to ensure proper fit with a modern King Size mattress set, we also created an extremely stable platform with center rail to ensure decade after decade of daily use and enjoyment.
