Antique French Walnut Louis XVI Painted Queen Bed combines the master artisan craftsmanship of yesteryear with the modern comfort and convenience of 21st Century standardized bedding!  Hand-chosen for its width by Inessa, the rails have been expertly lengthened to easily accommodate a Queen size mattress set, with our ingenious flush-mounted slats between the rails ~ four in number ~ crafted from 2 x 4 lumber which is the same thing that holds up your walls!  Exquisite headboard design features a three panel configuration with a broad arched crown centered with a lifelike floral spray.  Underneath on the center panel appears a recessed floral wreath with ribbon with astonishing detail.  Raised panel and fine molded detail permeate the design, even on the side rails, but the show stopper is the wraparound footboard.  Acanthus plumes carved on the juncture with the rails lead up a gracefully curved and scrolled rounded corner to the centerpiece ~ a magnificent multi-tiered design with floral clusters at the top corners and centered with an intertwined laurel wreath.  Fluted pilasters on each side and underneath the central carving provide a beautiful framework.  Tapered and turned legs provide support.
