Pair 19th Century French Louis XV Walnut Twin Beds

Pair 19th Century French Louis XV Walnut Twin Beds represent the essence of the style, created in sumptuous French walnut with elegance and grace.  The triple arched headboard is crowned with an elaborate asymmetrical shell cartouche, with bold framing encircling the entire footboard adorned with foliate sprays on the shoulders.  The same triple arched form appears on the footboard with identical framing and shoulder treatment, but the face of the footboard truly shines!  A crest-shaped medallion has been carved with bold full relief depicting floral garlands and is centered on the footboard, surrounded by finely crafted molded detail.  The base of the footboard is an elegant scrolled design, replicated on the side rails.  Support is provided by scrolled legs carved with acanthus fronds and escargot feet.  Each bed accommodates a standard twin mattress set.
