18th Century Louis XVI Period Country French Buffet a Deux Corps in Stripped Oak is a wonderful example of the craftsmanship with which rural artisans were capable during the waning years of the century that saw the birth of the USA.  Utilizing solid planks of old-growth, fully seasoned indigenous oak, tailored panels were created for all sides, with only a total of 12 panels creating a stately, no-nonsense look that will blend with any casual decor!  A finely molded crown overlooks the piece, which features two big doors on outboard barrel hinges and two smaller doors on the slightly deeper and wider cabinet below, with both cabinets offering unfettered access thanks to the center stiles being attached to the left side doors.  Shelves on the interior allow one to keep things organized, and the copious space ensures you'll have room to store pretty much everything you'll need in that room!  Brass key guards and a simple scrolled apron complete the stylistic effect.
