19th Century Dutch Painted Corner Cabinet represents the rural artisan's work at its finest!  Hand-crafted from solid indigenous oak, it boasts a somewhat whimsical architecture, with undulating contours on the top tier reaching a pinnacle at the center.  The interior of the panels are painted, as are the two semicircular shelves.  Flowers have been painted along the perimeter of the main shelf, which appears over the cabinet fitted with two doors, and each door is a charming rural Dutch scene, complete with windmill, all rendered in vibrant but natural earth tones.  Doors open to reveal a fully painted interior.  Perfect for creating visual interest, with a bit of storage, in an otherwise "dead" corner!  Note the faux painting on the back side.  We can only speculate that at one point it was in front of a window?
