Antique French Renaissance Octagonal End Table

Antique French Renaissance Octagonal End Table represents the epitome of the evolution of the type, with eight sides that allow it to fit into corners, non-rectangular spaces, or even the middle of the room.  Hand-sculpted from solid oak, its carved aprons under the beveled and carved top appear over a double row of fishscale detailing.  Four boldly carved urn pedestals provide support, and are connected below with a turned stretchers.  Acanthus rosettes and flourishes complete the embellishment, all hand-carved to perfection!
