This handsome 18th Century Rustic Dutch Oak Two-Tiered Buffet was literally built to last for centuries out of dense, old-growth quarter sawn oak, and features some amazing hand-crafted detailing that is reminiscent of the later Arts & Crafts Movement, but this piece preceded that style period by at least a 100 years!  Amazing flared & fluted pilasters appear on the cornerposts with bold molding accented by pyramidal decorative blocks surrounded by bold molding, including dentil molding across the crown and above the serving surface.  Original stamped steel keyguards and drawer pulls add a nice touch.  Of particular note are the hand-forged hinges and lockworks visible in the detail photos.  Functional as well as visually appealing, it will provide enjoyment to your family for many generations to come!
