Antique French Louis XVI Marble Top Coffee Table

Antique French Louis XVI Marble Top Coffee Table is not only a marvel of craftsmanship, it was created from the finest materials to last for centuries!  Fine imported mahogany was used for the foundation, with drawers fitted into the longer sides, and pull-out leather-topped surfaces on the shorter sides.  The oval shape is enhanced by demilune forms appearing over the legs.  Topped with subtly veined Carrara marble, it features a pierced brass gallery rail around the top to keep things in place, with brass louvers contoured to fit the pediments above each tapered and fluted leg, which have also been tipped with brass feet.  Brass knobs allow access to the drawers and pull-out surfaces which boast their original green hand-tooled leather tops.  Brass molding has been used around the entire apron for a finishing effect.
