18th Century Dutch Hand Carved Linen Press ~ Armoire was designed to store all of one's clothing or linens in style ~ obviously for an affluent family.  It consists of two beautiful doors on the front with carved panel doors with fluted carvings fitted to make rectangular panels.  The upper interior cabinet reveals three drawers and ample storage space, with two interior drawers that are very handy.  The upper cabinet also could be used for housing a big flat panel TV or other entertainment equipment.  The piece is also good for general storage, with three full width, capacious drawers below for any and all purposes.  Boldly carved arched crown presides over the intricate molding that appears from top to bottom, with ebonized columns above and fluted pilasters below flanking the central section.  Cast brass capitals and bases on the columns, plus drawer pulls and key guards complete the look.
