Pair 18th Century French Louis XVI Corner Cabinets is truly a rare find, indeed!  Hand-sculpted from dense, old-growth oak to last for generation after generation, each is poised to take advantage of the corners of a room, space that normally is unused.  Boldly arched crowns are centered with full relief sculptures of baskets bursting with flowers and greenery, set upon a finely carved corbel.  Dentil molding leads the eye down to the rounded shoulders which appear above the fluted cornerposts.  Upper and lower cabinets are beautifully crafted and separated by a pair of drawers, all of which sport brass key guards for a proper finishing touch.  Note the incredible craftsmanship from the glorious crown to the base, even including the intricate geometry of the drawers which conform to the complex interior shape.
Truly a Masterpiece, as well as a matching Pair!
