Early 19th Century Country French Buffet a Deux Corps possesses a rustic elegance that is quintessentially French, yet due to the tailored simplicity of line makes it a great choice to work with any casual or country decor!  Hand-crafted from dense, old-growth oak, it boasts a boldly molded crown overlooking the entire work, with an upper tier mounted with elongated two-panel doors mounted with outboard hinges to allow easy access.  The French scroll on the upper panel framework provides visual appeal, but upon closer examination, one can appreciate the chamfered panels and double-pegged mortise & tenon joinery, used throughout the work.  The lower cabinet juts out a bit for more depth and storage, and features the same French scroll on the upper panel framework with outboard hinges.  Steel key guards add a nice touch, and the scrolled apron below completes the overall visual effect.  Both the top and bottom open wide to reveal cavernous storage with multiple shelves, making this piece just as useful as it is beautiful to behold!
