18th Century Country French Provincial Buffet features an arbalette, or archer's bow, facade sculpted and embellished from solid oak to last for centuries!  Amazingly, it appears to be a commode, but the false facade opens up to reveal a spacious buffet, making this an ideal piece for any room!  Interior drawers are concealed behind the doors that are mounted on hand-forged hinges that allow the doors to open exceptionally wide for easy access.  Sculpted embellishments include Rococo shell, floral and crest motifs in glorious full relief on each cornerpost both above and below, as well as incredibly artistic foliate flourishes on the apron below.  Cast bronze key guards and pulls complete the look.  Lovingly stripped using our proprietary process that involves no petrochemicals and is completely non-toxic, the full natural beauty and patina accumulated over the centuries is fully retained and on full display for your thorough enjoyment!
