Antique Country French Commode is a classic example of the breed! Hand-crafted from solid oak, it features a contoured facade carved with shell and foliate motifs with a touch of cross hatching. The rounded cornerposts are carved with complementary motifs and the accent of a single wildflower. Drawers are capacious, and accessed with cast bronze pulls styled in the Baroque manner. The scrolled apron with cross hatching and shell, floral and foliate motifs is bracketed by two elegantly scrolled cabriole legs carved with complementary motifs and tipped with cloven hoof feet.
