Antique Country French Louis XV Four-Sided Commode is an exceptionally rare find indeed!  Normally one would simply be amazed a the facade en arbalette, with the drawer fronts carved from single planks in an archer's bow shape then festooned with elaborate shell, foliate and scrollwork motifs.  The complementary apron below continues that styling, with the entire facade framed by rounded and carved cornerposts fitted with boldly scrolled and carved legs.  But that's not where the fascinating design ends~ Each side panel features a distinctive arched raised & recessed panel in a framework that includes a contoured and molded apron, and even scrolled and carved legs on the back.  But there's more!  Look around on the back side, and three panels that complement the sides with a fully contoured and molded apron appear even on the back side, such that if desired, this piece can go in the center of the room!  Hand-crafted from dense, old-growth oak which means it will last many lifetimes, it has been fitted with beautiful solid cast brass pulls for the perfect finishing touch.
