18th Century Country French End Table will make a charming addition to your casual or rustic decor! Utilizing lathes probably powered by a water mill, the artisans created interesting shapes to the legs and more notably the bold contours of the "H" stretcher below that adds strength and a little style statement. The case that is fastened to the four legs with pegged mortise & tenon joints consists of an undulating apron with one side being a full width drawer to add convenience. The top is solid planks of wood for long life, with a generous overhang to create a very usable surface. Only old-growth oak was employed to ensure this wonderful keepsake brings smiles to your family for generations to come!
