18th Century Rustic Country French End Table in Stripped Elmwood represents the essence of essential furnishings hand-crafted by able artisans who utilized tools that we consider primitive by today's standards, yet produced furniture that literally defies the centuries!  Utilizing abundant indigenous old-growth sycamore, they fashioned solid planks and beams for the top and framework, with full mortise joints to ensure sturdiness and longevity.  Interestingly, the drawer was designed to act also as the side and back panels when closed, and also hand-crafted entirely of planks.  A single turned wooden knob allows easy access.  The height is perfect for a coffee table in a cozy seating group, or as a companion table to any rustic or casual decor, more than capable of serving to hold lamps, family photos, or anything one desires to display.  The drawer provides more than ample room for remotes and what-nots.  Professionally and painstakingly stripped by our expert in-house professional staff to reveal the natural beauty while retaining the patina of over 2 centuries!
