19th Century French Louis XVI Oval Marble Top End Table was designed for a seating group to provide a surface for lamps or reading materials.  The Cararra marble top ensures carefree usage so one can easily clean up spills with style.  The stately neoclassical lines create a truly timeless look, with spiral ribbon molding appearing around the marble surface, completely around the apron, and also around the perimeter of the caned shelf below whose framework adds style and stability to the design.  The gold finish has achieved a lovely patina over the decades.
