Antique French Louis XIV Round Marble Top End Table

Antique French Louis XIV Round Marble Top End Table is a study in classic grace and form, rendered in fine French walnut!  The jet-black honed slate top rests in a framework of a gadrooned edging, which in turn is mounted atop the apron carved with a variation of egg & dart molding, interspersed with lions' heads appearing atop each of the elegantly scrolled and carved legs.  The legs are joined with scrolled and carved stretchers, and at their center appears a turned column that aids in support at the very center of the table.  Lions' paws feet complete the look.
