Antique Renaissance Octagonal Center Table ~ End Table

Antique Renaissance Octagonal Center Table ~ End Table was fashioned from solid sycamore, and features carved detail from the surface to the bun feet!  The sycamore has been stripped using our proprietary non-petrochemical method that retains the natural beauty and patina of the wood for a splendid visual effect.  Octagonal top is lavished with gadrooned edges and foliate carvings, supported by a finely carved eight-section apron.  The apron carvings alternate between floral and foliate designs with scrollwork and every other apron carved with a pair of cherubs and elaborate rosettes and foliate flourishes.   Barley twist legs accented with rosettes and carved corbels are connected with barley twist stretchers to provide elegant support.
