19th Century English Mahogany Sideboard is a magnificent example of the refinement of English furnishings during the waning years of the 1800s.  This example employs exotic flame mahogany imported from the Americas, and so named because the cut on the massive trees where huge branches joined with the main trunk created flame shaped patterns.  Corbels accentuate the arched panels below, with a curvaceous drawer tier along the top.  The doors open to reveal cavernous storage, including pull-out drawers and even a liquor bottle drawer, called a celette!
