Antique French Louis XVI Walnut Marble Top Buffet

Antique French Louis XVI Walnut Marble Top Buffet will provide stately elegance to any room!  Classical architecture inspired by the ancient Greeks and Romans provides the casework design, with interesting molded detail combined with finely carved embellishments.  On the rounded cornerposts, for instance, one sees intertwined foliates at the top, and a rosette below, all carved on the curved surface.  The tailored drawers are enhanced with solid bronze castings depicting laurel swags.  The left and right doors are adorned with baskets bursting with fruit, each flanking the center panel with arched crown with rosettes and acanthus plumes anchoring laurel swags to complement the bronze drawer pulls.  Bronze key guards add a nice accent, with the apron fluted below only on the center section, and accented with a bold rosette in full relief.  A full width shelf below doubles your display capability.  Tapered and fluted legs provide support, and the doors and drawers open to reveal cavernous storage.  On top is a luxuriously veined marble slab contoured and beveled to create a perfectly fitting top that will provide decades of carefree entertaining and enjoyment!
