Antique French Louis XV Walnut Serpentine Marble Top Buffet will make a great choice for any room in the home or office!  Hand-crafted from fine French walnut, such splendid works of the cabinetmaker's art are becoming ever harder to find.  This particular piece features two carved cabinet doors with carved drawers above, both emphasizing elegant foliates and bold molding.  The scrolled apron below continues that theme and introduces a shell motif at the center, as well as on the shoulders of the gracefully scrolled legs tipped with escargot feet.  Full length steel barrel hinges, bale pulls and key guards add a bit of a casual touch to offset the formality of the piece.  Of course, a beautifully beveled marble top has been contoured to follow the subtle serpentine form to finish the look and provide a carefree yet gorgeous surface.  Doors and drawers open wide to provide easy access to the surprising storage within.
