Antique Liegoise Louis XIV Buffet ~ Sideboard was meticulously hand-crafted from indigenous oak, and features a marvelous architecture that presents stately elegance from all angles!  The side panels are gracefully contoured and finely molded, then accented with cross hatching, leading the eye to the rounded cornerposts which are set at 45 degrees and counter-molded which is a highly specialized skill set.  Carved detail on the rounded corners is just as impressive.  The main facade is defined by the cabinet doors, richly carved with stylized shell and foliate motifs with a double arched framework at the top of each door which flank the carved step-front center stile.  Lavishly scrolled apron below is eye-catching, and the entire front facade is defined by intricate molded detail, all the product of master cabinetmakers.  Doors and drawers, which are fitted with cast brass pulls, all open to reveal amazing storage, with a clear, spacious surface on top to complete the package!
