Antique Liegoise Louis XIV Step-Front Buffet

Antique Liegoise Louis XIV Step-Front Buffet was hand-crafted by the master artisans of Liege in the timeless style favored by the Sun King!  Utilizing indigenous old-growth oak, the artisans created a step-front design that creates visual appeal from any angle, and is especially noticeable when this piece stands alone on a wall.  An unusually tall design, it was scaled for high ceilings, and features concave corners and convex step-out contours for visual intrigue.  Carved scrollwork and foliates appear on the facade, with cross hatching and bold molding details adding to the flair.  Cast brass drawer pulls and key guards combine with the brass barrel hinges to complete the look.
