Early 18th Century Country French Whitewashed Buffet represents the essence of understated elegance, with fine molded detail and subtly curved raised panels combined with the typical outwardly scrolled bonnet which houses the two drawers.  Hand-crafted from dense, old-growth white oak and fitted with steel pulls & key guards, it was built to last for centuries!  The style cues shown here were later adapted by Louis Philippe during his reign in the mid-19th century.  The overall effect is enhanced by the subtle whitewashed finish perfect for today's casual decors.
