19th Century English Burl Walnut Marble Top Chest of Drawers

19th Century English Burl Walnut Marble Top Chest of Drawers is an unusual find for us, but we couldn't resist the rich wood figure and the luxuriously veined contoured and beveled marble top!  Meant to serve as a silverware and linen cabinet, it features a divided and felt-lined interior on the top drawer.  Each drawer facade has been elegantly contoured to match the marble top above, dovetailed into the drawer assemblage, then fitted with solid cast brass pendant pulls mounted on guards, with matching key guards providing access to the fully mortised brass lockworks ~ a definitive sign of makers of the highest quality standards!  The baseboard below continues the same facade contour, and is supported by a brace of carved animal paw feet.  The very shallow design makes it minimally intrusive on your floor plan, while still providing an exceptional visual accent that will catch everyone's eye!
