19th Century French Louis Philippe Carved & Stripped Commode represents the next step in the evolution of the genre, with the facade deftly and subtly carved in relief with neoclassical motifs inspired by the Ancient Greeks and Romans.  The undeniably tailored architecture of the Louis Philippe period is plainly evident in the casework, but with the added embellishment of spiral ribbon trim, laurel leaf trim, dash & dot trim, and olive branches spreading out from the centered key guards.  Neoclassical cast bronze pulls complement the key guards and add an air of elegance.  Four drawers provide ample storage in this timeless instant family heirloom!
