19th Century French Louis Philippe Period Walnut Commode is a splendid example of the genre, with traditional craftsmanship united with exquisite indigenous walnut to create a timeless piece that transcends most design concepts!  The sheer natural beauty of the sumptuous wood shines forth all around, especially on the drawer facades.  There are three immediately obvious drawers with inset brass keyguards as the only other adornment other than the exquisite wood grain.  The drawers were designed with a minimalist effect, and access is by a key which will be provided with your purchase, although the lockworks are not guaranteed.  The upper molding that wraps around the piece just under the plank top is also a drawer as well.  The bold base molding with corbel-like feet provides a sturdy base.  Ideal for any formal or even somewhat casual interior, it was designed to provide enjoyment for your family for generations to come!
