19th Century French Louis XVI Mahogany Marble Top Buffet by Soubrier is a masterpiece of the cabinetmaker's art!  Maison Soubrier, located in the heart of the Faubourg Saint Antoine, has been known for fine furnishings for over 150 years.  This example was rendered from prized mueche mahogany, and features classical architecture melded with exquisite bronze castings.  The bronze motifs include heavy drawer pulls in a fully cast laurel swag design, floral rosettes on the corner tops, intricate floral and foliate designs around the keyholes, reeds in the cornerpost flutes, and Doric capitals atop the tapered and spiral-fluted legs.  Luxurious beveled Carrara marble provides an elegant and carefree surface, while spacious drawers add functionality to this exquisite classically designed keepsake!
