Antique French Louis XVI Desk ~ Library Table ~ Dining Table is able to fill a multitude of roles, and do so in style!  Combining elegantly scrolled cabriole legs with subtly scrolled stretchers, it features neoclassical ornamentation rendered in hand-carved sculptural detail depicting swags, corbels, acanthus frond, floral sprays and a prominent acorn serving as the finial at the center of the stretchers.  All four aprons are carved to match, and framed with molded detail above and below, with the two short sides actually concealing drawers with surprising capacity.  Hand-crafted from solid quarter-sawn oak, it was designed to last for generations, and will find a use in any room in the home or office!
