19th Century Gilded and Painted Wood Tabor features pierce-carved, curved sides with a base larger than the display surface which creates extra stability in style!  Ivory colored painted finish has achieved a lovely patina over the decades, and is enhanced by the gold highlighting.  Taking center stage is the timeless Christogram with the letters IHS sculpted into the curved surface framed by a quatrefoil representing the four points of the cross.  Tabors were pedestals upon which a Monstrance would be placed, inside of which a relic would be enclosed.
