Antique French Hand-Painted Earthenware Wall Jardiniere from Rouen is a purely decorative item that ingeniously was designed to hang on the wall so one could place fresh flowers or greenery in to brighten up a room!  Exquisitely formed in the Rococo manner, it has been hand-painted by the master artisans of the Rouen region, who have practiced and perfected their art over the course of the last several centuries.  Rich cobalt blue, mustard yellow, olive green and dusty reds are all painstakingly and artistically hand-painted onto the intricate form to enhance the shapes and add stylistic flair.  Even when no flowers are in season, it remains a beautiful decorative object to bring a smile to one's face all year long!
