Set of Two 19th Century Cast Bronze French Gothic Candlesticks feature astonishing detail from the bobeches on top to the scrolled tripod feed below!  Various iterations of the classic acanthus leaf in mulitiple repetitive patterns appear in tiers, with each candlestick featuring the same sequence of motifs, although one is larger than the other.  The base is perhaps the most interesting, with incredibly intricate detailing and Christian religious symbolism on the three sides of the tripod.  Perfect as is, or combined with similar examples, as shown in the last detail shot herein.  Literally designed to last for centuries, the set is destined to become an instant family heirloom!
