Pair 19th Century French 2nd Empire Mahogany Marble Top Nightstands were crafted during the 2nd Empire during the reign of Napoleon III feature the luxurious and exotic wood imported from the Americas embellished with subtle bronze accents.  Turned columns flank the cabinet doors which open to reveal multi-shelved storage inside.  Note the doors are hinged left and right, for proper placement beside the bed or sofa.  And yes, they're finished all around making them good choices for the center of the family room next to chairs or flanking a big couch!  The columns also visually support the full width drawer at the top accessed with a concealed finger groove.  Slate gray, almost black colored marble tops create luxurious yet carefree appeal, which combine with the wonderful storage for a perfect duo.
