18th Century Flemish Renaissance Buffet in Stripped Oak is the perfect choice for adding Old World charm to any room!  Originally designed for dining areas, buffets like this are finding homes in every room these days, for their sheer utility alone.  Imagine a large flat panel TV on top with all your family room accouterments inside.  Crafted from solid planks of old growth oak, it features a flared upper tier into which two large drawers were fitted, framed and separated by boldly carved lions' heads.  Each drawer is carved with a stylized egg motif framed by foliate flourishes, and accessed with a single brass knob.  Below are two cavernous cabinets with doors carved with tailored, geometric molding detail resembling a labyrinth, with subtle insertions of crosses in the design.  The two corner posts and center stile~ which is attached to the right door for unfettered access to the two surfaces within~ are fluted for a neoclassical architectural touch.  Finally our expert in-house staff professionally stripped the piece retaining the natural patina and coloration of the wood for a soft visual impact on the room, and also a blank canvas for whatever you may wish to do to the piece over the next 4 or 5 decades....
