Antique French Gothic Raised Cabinet is a magnificent expression of the style that had its origins in mid-12th century France!  Raised up on legs to provide ease of access, it features a very sturdy top perfect for display, with another full width shelf below that can also serve the same purpose.  Above the lower shelf is a backing of five linenfold panels.  Three linenfold panels appear on each side as well, with one horizontal.  The front facade steals the show, with elaborate geometric designs punctuated with rosettes and forming various arch structures.  The pair of drawers below, separated by a pendant finial, are also lavished with elaborate molding detail accented with rosettes.  Cabinet doors are externally hinged to open wide using the intricately cast steel latches, revealing surprising storage within.  An exceptional piece onto which one can place a large flat panel TV, just high enough in the room for everyone to be able to easily see!
