19th Century French Renaissance Armoire was sculpted from dense, old-growth oak by master sculptors and craftsmen!  The boldly molded crown overlooks a bonnet lavished with a bold full relief heraldic crest flanked by intricate foliates and large rosettes which appear above the double threaded barley twist columns that extend all the way down to the base.  The columns flank the doors which feature mirrored upper sections with amazing carved overlay arched across each top, and featuring glorious relief carvings of topography symbolism on the left and a musical theme on the right.  Each sculpture is framed with egg & dart with a foliate motif which can be seen throughout the design of the facade.  A full width drawer at the base depicts a lion's head which doubles as the drawer pull, flanked by amazing foliates in full relief just above the exquisitely gadrooned base molding.  Doors open to reveal a capacious interior that is a blank canvas awaiting your direction!
