19th Century French Normandy Vaisselier ~ Buffet was designed to hold a place of honor in the family's most-often used room. Able to store all the family's china and glassware below, while displaying the finest family heirlooms on the shelves above, and even providing a modicum of serving and display surface in the bargain ~ all with inimitable Provincial flair executed in style by talented wood sculptors! Crafted from indigenous old-growth oak, it has been embellished with elaborate scrolls, cascading wildflowers and even a bold relief cartouche of a basket of flowers appearing just under the chapeau de gendarme crown! Brass key guards and hinges complete the look.
