Antique Liegoise Louis XIV Armchairs in Stripped Oak are an excellent example of the fine craftsmanship for which the region is so well known.  Artisans developed their trades for centuries in the ancient city, producing masterworks appreciated all over the world.  This pair feature timeless Louis XIV lines with graceful and elegant curves enhanced with hand-carved detail including shell, foliates and lions' paws feet.  The open architecture makes them more light in weight although the design includes sturdy joinery you'll love for decades.  Upholstered in a damascene fabric, each has been painstakingly stripped by our expert in-house staff to reveal the natural beauty of the old growth white oak.
