19th Century French Gothic Hall Bench was hand-crafted from solid old-growth oak, and features a tailored classical architecture with design embellishments that are definitive of the style.  A two-tiered pierced gallery rail creates a crown on the seat back, which in turn features three carved raised panels.  Three carved raised panels with different motifs appear on the face of the trunk.  The seat lifts to reveal trunk-like storage.  Hall benches like this example are great for high-traffic spots in the room, being relatively shallow yet providing both seating and storage with timeless flair!
