Antique French Louis XVI Neoclassical Painted Oval Mirror is ideal for a classical look with a soft, patinaed painted finish that is easy on the eyes.  An almost imperceptible olive tint to the painted finish adds natural richness.  On top we see hand-sculpted ribbon tied in a bow, and the entire frame all around is carved to depict banded wheat.  The painted finish helps accentuate the subtle carved detail yet the combination results in a restrained elegance that is most appealing to the eye.  The original beveled oval mirror resides within the frame, further accented by a dash and beaded trim all around.  The perfect size for a wide variety of applications throughout the home!
