A finely hand carved frieze with repeating Gothic inspired motifs runs beneath the top, adding depth and architectural character.
The table is supported by boldly carved walnut pedestal legs with scrolling volutes and stylized acanthus ornament resting on stepped plinth bases. A gracefully curved hand forged iron stretcher joins the pedestals, introducing a refined blacksmith forged element that has long been associated with traditional Spanish furniture. The combination of richly figured walnut and hand forged iron creates a striking balance of warmth and strength.
