Antique Country French Provincial Painted Trumeau features a painted finish that enhances the hand-carved Rococo detailing from the arched crown to the framework surrounding the romantic-themed painting.  Generously sized mirror and acanthus flourishes on the bottom corners complete the effect.  The painting is an interpretation of a group of cherubs celebrating the grape harvest, a theme that was glorified during the Renaissance and has been revisited by artists for centuries.  This particular rendering is amazingly lifelike and at the same time charming in its innocence.
