Antique Country French Louis XVI Commode ~ Chest of Drawers will make a splendid addition to any room!  The tailored architecture inspired by classic Greek and Roman designs is enhanced by the charming French carved embellishment that covers the entire front facade.  Fletching and wheat bordering create a framework for the three drawers, each of which has been adorned with stylized shell, foliate and crosshatching.  Each drawer is also centered with a cast brass leaf-shaped key guard.  Tapered legs provide support.  The three drawers open to provide surprising storage, yet the entire casework is sized to fit in cozy niches, narrow spaces or even to serve as a functional and attractive bedside companion, all while extending only 15 inches into the floor plan.
