18th Century Country French Low Buffet ~ Credenza ~ Vanity is a testament to the time-honored traditions of craftsmanship, combined with the talents of the rural artisans of France! An excellent candidate as a bathroom vanity cabinet, it was crafted utilizing dense, old-growth indigenous oak that was carefully seasoned, a tailored architecture was employed to create the casework, embellished only by a subtly scrolled apron and legs below, and arched frameworks for the raised panels on the doors. Each door is hung with hand-forged steel barrel hinges, and the old lockwork mechanism still works, thanks to the preservation of the original key. Solid plank top and sides enclose a voluminous interior perfect for storing a wide variety of items, while the surface makes for a good platform for decorative items, photos, keepsakes, and maybe even a big flat panel TV!
